Two New Pubs Opening on Hope Street

The team behind some of Liverpool’s favourite bars has announced that they plan to open two new pubs on and behind Hope Street in early 2024.

Having already launched several successful venues in the city over the last few years including Metrocola on Leece Street, Papillion on Hope Street, The Red Lion on Slater Street, The Vines on Lime Street, and Love and & Rockets on Lark Lane, the team made the announcement on the newly-opened Queen of Hope Street’s Instagram account, saying:

“BIG NEWS! We’re opening not one, but two new pubs next month! One on Hope St and the other round the corner on Arrad St. We think you’re gonna love ’em. Please give @whitehartpubliverpool and @engineerpubliverpool a follow for all info and build up to the big openings.”

The White Hart is described as a “Dickensian Snug Pub” with six rotating cask ales on offer, whilst The Engineer is described as the “Ultimate Backstreet Boozer” and a true cask pub from another time.

  1. Fantastic addition to the already decent pubs in this area. Extremely well kept cask ales, kegs are mainly aimed at lager drinkers. Decor is fab, fires are roasting. Pies look good. Will be back for more.
