Liverpool’s vibrant coffee scene is about to welcome a new addition as popular Italian coffee shop Gran Caffè gears up to open its third site in the city.
Founded by Italian brothers Paolo and Donato Cillo, Gran Caffè first made its mark on Williamson Square a decade ago under the name P&D Deli. Since then, it has become a cherished destination for coffee aficionados and food enthusiasts alike.
Following the success of its initial venture, Gran Caffè expanded its presence with a second location on Duke Street adjacent to Splash Art, a move that further solidified its reputation in the city.
Now, Gran Caffè is poised to embark on its next chapter of growth with the opening of its third site, marking its first foray outside the city center. Nestled in the heart of South Liverpool’s Lark Lane, this newest addition to the Gran Caffè family promises to delight patrons with a refined menu and an all-day dining experience.
Gran Caffè is expanding its menu to include an array of Italian small and large plates for lunch, aperitivo, and dinner, allowing diners to savour the flavours of Italy throughout the day with products sourced from their sister Maria’s A Tavola da Maria Delicatessen.
Gran Caffè also takes pride in its coffee, ground from beans sourced from the family’s roastery, Torrefazione Lucana, located in Potenza, Italy. And one of the most anticipated highlights of the new location is the introduction of Gran Caffè’s award-winning artisan gelato, handcrafted in-house every day.
Set to open its doors in late spring, Gran Caffè’s third location is poised to become a beloved fixture in the South Liverpool community.
