Hybrid hotel brand, Kabannas, has unveiled a fresh new look at its Liverpool location in the heart of the bustling Cavern Quarter. With a focus on affordable stays and a vibrant social experience, Kabannas is redefining city accommodation by combining budget-friendly rooms with exciting new amenities, including interactive drinks, an upgraded food menu, and a retro games room complete with karaoke.
With rooms starting at just £69 per night, Kabannas caters to singles, couples, families, and groups seeking a memorable city stay. The recent refurbishment has also introduced a new dining and social space, ‘Kabin Liverpool,’ where guests can unwind with delicious food and drink offerings.
One of the standout additions is the collaboration with renowned Asian eatery, Little Bao Boy, in partnership with Sessions, a UK platform for innovative food brands. Considered ‘the record label of food’, the company specialises in brand development, technology and franchising with the ambition to bring non-stop originality to kitchens and consumers everywhere.
At Little Bao Boy, guests can indulge in a range of homemade bao buns with 12 enticing options. From breakfast baos filled with sausage patty, hash browns, and American cheese, to lunch favorites like the salt & pepper aubergine or teriyaki beef brisket bao, there’s something for every palate. The menu also includes hearty rice bowls, such as the hoisin tofu bowl, and irresistible sides like crispy cauliflower bites, gyozas, and loaded fries.
To complement the dining experience, Kabannas offers a self-pour drinks wall, where guests can help themselves to a selection of draught beers, ciders, and organic cocktails. Alternatively, the highball bar serves up a variety of sustainable wines, classic cocktails, and non-alcoholic options.
The fun doesn’t stop with the food and drinks. Downstairs, Kabannas has transformed its venue into a lively entertainment hub, featuring retro arcade games, smart darts, and a private karaoke room for hire. There’s also a lineup of live music and DJs from Thursday to Saturday, or guests can relax in a quieter section for a more laid-back vibe.
Mark Bailey, General Manager of Kabannas and Kabin Liverpool, shared his excitement about the relaunch:
“As part of our extensive refurbishment, we’re proud to bring a new energy to this historic building. While affordability remains a core part of our brand, we’ve focused on creating a space where social connections thrive. Whether you’re grabbing a drink, playing games, or enjoying a quieter moment, there’s something here for everyone. We’re thrilled to bring the Little Bao Boy food concept to Liverpool, offering a fusion of Asian street food with a contemporary twist. This isn’t just a bar or a hotel—it’s a place where people can come together for an unforgettable experience.”
With its fresh look and diverse range of activities, Kabannas Liverpool is set to become a go-to destination for visitors and locals alike.
