Crossbar to Launch Football Entertainment Venue at Liverpool ONE

Crossbar, a new football entertainment concept created by entrepreneur Brett Duarte, is gearing up to open its first venue in Liverpool. The brand has agreed a deal with Landsec to launch at Liverpool ONE in the spring.

The 25,000 square foot venue will span two floors on Manesty’s Lane and will offer tech enabled football boxes featuring reactive projection, motion tracking, and surround sound. A bar and casual dining area will sit alongside the gaming floor, while the upper level, Club 11, will offer a full restaurant experience.

Duarte describes Crossbar as a project that brings together his lifelong passion for football with a vision for elevated seamless entertainment. Duarte said: “We have a lifelong passion for football so bringing our new kind of football experience to life is a momentous landmark for the Crossbar. We have been searching for the perfect location to launch for some time, and Liverpool ONE’s second-to-none reputation and quality line-up of leisure and retail brands made it the obvious choice.”

Crossbar has signed a 15 year lease for the site, which will occupy the upper levels of the former Flannels and Beauty Bazaar Harvey Nichols. Access will be via a new ground floor entrance on Manesty’s Lane.

The Liverpool opening follows Crossbar’s recent announcement of plans for a Manchester site at Printworks, scheduled for June 2026. At Liverpool ONE, Crossbar will be joined by sportswear retailer Pro:Direct Soccer, which has taken a 6,000 square foot unit beneath the venue on a 10 year lease.
