Liverpool’s Abbey Road Bar & Kitchen, located on Harrington Street in the bustling commercial district, has just launched an exciting new menu for Autumn 2024.
This popular venue holds a quirky claim to fame—it opened and closed on the very same day! Abbey Road Bar & Kitchen made its debut on Friday, March 20th, 2020, just hours before all licensed premises were forced to shut due to the pandemic. Fast forward over four years, and it has become a beloved spot for sports fans, music lovers, and tourists alike.
Among the standout offerings on the new menu is the ‘Abbey Road Ultimate Burger Challenge’—a massive, mouth-watering feat that dares brave diners to conquer not just one, but all seven of the bar’s signature burgers. Here’s what’s included:
- Abbey Road Beef Burger
- Nacho Chicken Burger
- Mac is Back – Mac & Cheese Burger
- Big Texan – Double Beef Patty
- Green Angel – Halloumi Burger
- Abbey Road Vegan Burger
- Chippy Tea Burger – Coated Fish Burger
The challenge doesn’t end there. Participants must also polish off a hefty side of fries, onion rings, mac and cheese croquettes, and a bowl of slaw. If you manage to defeat this gut-busting feast within 40 minutes, the £80 meal is on the house, and you’ll walk away with a bucket of beers to share with your friends!
Abbey Road’s Business Development Manager shared the inspiration behind the challenge:
“We wanted to offer something unique with our new menu, and a food challenge seemed like the perfect fit for our venue. We’re excited to see if anyone can conquer it!”
