Bold Street’s dining scene is about to get even hotter as a brand-new Brazilian restaurant, Coco Brazil Rodizio Bar & Grill, is set to open its doors in early October promising to bring a vibrant new energy to one of Liverpool’s best-loved foodie destinations – Bold Street.
Located in the former Ellis Brigham store, the high-end eatery is expected to open around October 8, introducing an exciting mix of authentic Brazilian flavours, live entertainment, and striking design.
With more than £350,000 invested in a full six-month refurbishment, Coco Brazil will span two floors, each offering a unique dining experience. The ground floor will showcase a lively Rodízio-style service, where guests can enjoy premium cuts of meat served continuously at the table, the hallmark of Brazilian dining.
Upstairs, an elegant à la carte restaurant will feature seafood dishes, lighter plates, and vegetarian options, catering to those looking for something beyond the traditional steakhouse offering.
“It’s going to be vibrant and alive and fresh,” says a spokesperson for the brand. “With events and live music nights it will become the restaurant people will go to not just to eat, but to mingle and dance, and have an amazing time. It’s going to bring a bigger buzz than ever to Bold Street – and the dazzling interior we’ve created will be the perfect go-to for all those selfies and social media posts.”
The restaurant will seat up to 110 diners, with every detail from food presentation to the bespoke Coco Brazil signature cocktails crafted to deliver a luxurious yet welcoming experience. Music will also play a key role in the experience, with Latin American beats, live music events, and salsa nights planned to capture the true spirit of Brazil.
Coco Brazil promises to be more than just another Rodízio, it’s an elevated, destination dining experience that blends authentic South American culture with Liverpool’s own vibrant energy.
