Following the announcement of the closure of Jimmy’s Liverpool site this weekend, the occupants of their kitchen Burgerism are now also looking for a new home in the city. Making the announcement on their Instagram page, Burgerism said:
“You’ve probably heard the news. Jimmv’s on Bold St is set to close; Saturday will be its last day. Sad times! Lots of fans have been asking what this means for Burgerism in Liverpool. We’ve loved our time in the city and since we started smashing in January we’ve built a lovely set of regulars.
But this news came as a shock and sadly it means we don’t have a kitchen to trade from beyond Saturday. We’d love to see some of our fans before we go so please drop by for some of our smashed patty goodness. And of course we really wanna stay in Liverpool so if you have any ideas let us know!
Lastly, we’d like to thank our awesome team – nearly all of whom have been with us since day one. You guys truly smashed it!”
Burgerism’s Burgers were the 8th most ordered thing in the UK in 2021, and the brand is expanding across the UK. We’re keen to see them find a new location in Liverpool to continue their growth plans.
