New Bird Kitchen is bringing seasonal cheer to Liverpool’s Baltic Triangle with the launch of its Gourmet Festive Christmas Sandwich, priced at £10.50 and available for a limited time. The new special is designed to celebrate the flavours of the season and has quickly caught the attention of local food lovers.
The sandwich features herby chicken breast, nitrate-free sausages, crispy prosciutto and cranberry sauce, with homemade sprout slaw and roast chestnuts taking centre stage, all served in artisan sourdough.
Based at 61 New Bird Street, the grab and go kitchen is open from Wednesday to Friday between 8am and 3pm and has become a popular addition to the neighbourhood. Customers have been drawn to its breakfast, brunch and lunch menu, which focuses on premium ingredients that are organic where possible, free range and seed oil free. The drinks offering includes fairtrade Costa Rican coffee alongside local teas, matcha, hojicha, kombucha and more.
New Bird Kitchen is owned by Lorraine McCulloch, a celebrity stylist, and Jan Simpson, a costume designer, who bring their creative backgrounds into the kitchen. Alongside the festive sandwich, the team is also offering curated single or sharing charcuterie and cheese boxes for seasonal gatherings. These include deli meats, cheeses, pickles, olives, seasonal fruits and chutney, served with crackers or focaccia.
With Christmas shopping and social plans in full swing, New Bird Kitchen’s festive special offers a convenient and indulgent option for those looking for a quick seasonal bite in the heart of the Baltic Triangle.
