Suppher – the inclusive supper club, powered by women – is returning to Liverpool later this month, hosting another collaborative dinner at Ropes & Twines on Bold Street.
On the back of their recent listing in CODE Hospitality’s Women’s of the Year, Suppher is keeping it Northern and coming to Liverpool! Celebrating local women in hospitality and bringing talent over from Manchester.
A collaborative dinner with Anna Carmichael (Suppher), Daniela Tucci (Cooked) and Manuela Quesada (Holy Grain Sourdough Bakery) will take place at Ropes & Twines, Bold Street, from 7.30pm on May 17th. The chefs will create a special four course menu accompanied by a female-produced wine pairing curated by Kim McBride.
“As always, our events are inclusive so anyone can attend but they are powered by women. Profits will be donated to WHISC. The Women’s Health Information & Support Centre (WHISC) is a charity dedicated to improving the health and wellbeing of women and their families throughout Liverpool and the surrounding areas.”
Suppher was founded by Anna Søgaard and Kim McBride in 2019, who met whilst working together at Erst in Ancoats, Manchester. Anna is currently head chef at Bistro Freddie (formerly sous chef at Erst) and Kim is the former sommelier at Erst and The Creameries.
Both to use their skills to raise money for charities supporting women. In 2023 Suppher became a Community Interest Company and two new Directors were onboarded: Anna Carmichael and Sinéad Murdoch.
Suppher creates a space for women in hospitality, where they can get to know each other by working together on something special. Events are safe and inclusive, they are a place where women’s talents are showcased and important women’s issues are discussed.
Profits from Suppher events are donated to charities chosen by volunteers at each event.
