Liverpool city centre has a hot new spot for food and drink lovers: Holy Garage is officially open on Mount Pleasant near the Georgian Quarter and University district. This pop-up bar and restaurant brings Detroit-style pizza and craft beer to a unique location steeped in history.
Housed in a stunning Grade II-listed Victorian building, originally built in the 1870s, Holy Garage has transformed the former Christian missionary and YMCA into a vibrant destination with Motor City vibes.
Operating 7 days a week, Holy Garage offers a core menu of signature Detroit-style pizzas, complemented by monthly specials. The rotating craft beer selection features local favourites like Black Lodge and Carnival alongside top names from the UK and beyond. Adding to the mix, Holy Garage is the UK’s first venue to offer Shakacan premium canned shaken cocktails, a European sensation.
Visitors can also enjoy live sports and games, showcased on the venue’s massive projector screen. Regular events and activities will be unveiled in the coming months, making Holy Garage a dynamic addition to Liverpool’s nightlife scene.
If you’ve yet to visit, now’s the perfect time to try Liverpool’s latest favourite slice of Detroit!
