So Good They Named it Twice – Fluffy Fluffy is Coming to Liverpool

Canadian pancake sensation Fluffy Fluffy is already making waves in the UK, with its fifth site set to open in Liverpool in 2024.

The brand has announced plans for at least. The brand first entered the UK scene in October 2022 on Whitworth Street in Manchester, introducing its unique soufflé pancakes. Following an overwhelmingly positive response, Fluffy Fluffy expanded with sites in Leicester and Reading, and have since announced plans for at least five more locations next year.

Their latest announcement reveals that a 1,500 square-foot outlet in Berry Street, Liverpool, is scheduled to open early in 2024.

Hussein Umar, the UK Development Lead at Fluffy Fluffy UK, expressed excitement about the brand’s strong performance in 2023, citing the success of existing stores.

“It has been an exciting year for Fluffy Fluffy as we end 2023 with a strong portfolio of stores that are performing above expectation. We’re delighted to have successfully executed our growth strategy finding excellent sites in Yorkshire, the north west, Berkshire, and the Midlands. In 2024 we will be further investing in our estate and continuing our expansion journey with plans to open at least five new sites around the country. The success of our existing stores is encouraging and demonstrates the demand for our feel-good dessert cafe concept. Fluffy Fluffy provides high value against a distinctive product with a big ‘shareability factor’. In tough times Fluffy Fluffy is a chance to experience something decadent without breaking the bank and this is proving popular with audiences around the country.”

Fluffy Fluffy, known for its signature soufflé pancakes, originated in Toronto in 2018. Since then, it has expanded rapidly with 22 sites across North America and multiple locations in Europe. Umar envisions reaching 25 UK sites by 2025 and eventually establishing over 100 outlets in the country. The brand’s regional expansion will include openings in the eastern parts of the UK in early 2024, and a much-anticipated London debut is also on the horizon for the coming year.
