The iconic Cavern Club, a landmark in Liverpool’s music scene, has reported a robust 15% increase in like-for-like sales for 2024.
This growth comes as the club prepares to open its first overseas franchise in Brazil later this year. Negotiations are also underway for additional franchises in Dubai, Mexico, and the Philippines.
The restaurant continues to show strong financial performance in the current fiscal year and the new Hilton Hotel scheduled to open opposite the Cavern Club in 2025 is expected to further boost revenue and profitability.
Kim Jardine, a director at the Cavern Club, remarked on the company’s impressive recovery post-pandemic, “All five parts of the company have seen revenue increases compared to the years when restrictions were imposed. The real profit last year was £1,858,664 after accounting for the restaurant acquisition. Our turnover for the first four months of 2023-2024 is already 15% higher, and we are hopeful for another record year. This solidifies the power and value of our brand, now estimated to be worth over £40 million.”
