The inaugural meeting of the newly-formed Allerton Business Community took place this week at Interesting Eating Company, with local businesses coming together to share ideas on improving the area for residents, businesses, and the community.
The meeting was chaired by Hannah Todd and The BIPC with representatives from several local businesses including Pierre Griffes, Carlisi, Chamber 36, 52 Rose Lane, Skaus and the soon to open Pilgrim in attendance.
The Club is also open to all businesses in the Allerton Road and Smithdown Road areas, with MediVet and Chandlers also in attendance at the first meeting.
Speaking about her reasons for forming the organisation, Interesting Eating Company owner Hannah said:
“Our goal is to unite businesses in the area to form a cohesive plan to make Allerton Road a true destination for both locals and visitors to our city. If we can work together to organise and promote events in the area, every local business will benefit.”
The second meeting is scheduled for May, those who are interested in attending can contact Hannah HERE to be added to the mailing list.
